Comedian Richard Jeni, who shot himself to death in March, had a history of mental illness and was hospitalized late last year for suicidal depression, according to a coroner's report obtained Thursday.

Jeni, 49, died at a hospital after shooting himself in the head at his Hollywood home on March 10, authorities have said.

His girlfriend heard him talking to himself about a week earlier, saying "'just squeeze the trigger,'" according to a police report cited by the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

She was making breakfast downstairs when Jeni shot himself in the mouth with a .38-caliber Colt Detective Special handgun, according to the report.

Jeni, whose birth name was Richard John Colangelo, had not made any previous suicide attempts and left no note, the report said.

They were arrested Jan. 3 after authorities were tipped off to a Web site showing Taylor sprawled topless on an ottoman and advertising services ranging from $300 one-hour photo shoots to "dream dates" that included a one-hour show.

In the federal lawsuit filed Monday in Panama City, Brooke Pastolic and Christina Brose said they were enticed to board a ÒGirls Gone WildÓ tour bus with the promise of free clothing. Once onboard, they allegedly were given alcoholic drinks even though both were younger than 21.

According to the lawsuit, the cameramen then coerced the women into exposing themselves and engaging in sexual activities, but repeatedly stated they would not use footage in a video. However, the footage appeared on two separate ÒGirls Gone WildÓ DVDs.

Sheriff Lee Baca said an undisclosed medical condition led to Hilton's home-detention release from the Century Regional Detention Facility. A judge sent her back to jail on Friday. Baca strongly denied accusations of favoritism and said Hilton was actually being more harshly treated than a member of the general public -- a claim some experts said was untrue.

Hilton's period of home confinement following her release lasted only one day. A judge ordered her returned to jail last week.

The Pentagon considered a proposal to create a hormone bomb that could turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.

U.S. military officials told KPIX-TV in San Francisco that a "gay bomb" was on the drawing board in 1994 but then subsequently rejected.

The discovery was made by Edward Hammond, of Berkeley's Sunshine Project. Using the Freedom of Information Act, he found a copy of the proposal from the Air Force's Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio.

The "gay bomb" was part of an effort to develop non-lethal weapons. The proposal for the weapon stated: "One distasteful but completely non-lethal example would be strong aphrodisiacs, especially if the chemical also caused homosexual behavior."

A source tells Us Weekly the pair parted ways after nude photos of Adler, 28, surfaced on the Web.

contents of the heiress' unpaid storage locker were posted online at parisexposed com

(the site was later shut down).

Says a source, "They had a blowup. She was furious."
